So, are you wondering “what’s Sofa Garden all about?” The short answer is, decorative pillows. Exceptional decorative pillows, made in the USA.
A slightly longer answer…
“One unremarkable day in the Summer of 1999 two best friends and co-workers (Heather and Kellie) struck upon an idea for something they could do to free themselves of their work-a-day world. “Let’s make hand-painted, artistic decorative pillows,” they said. Kellie was pretty handy with a paint brush and Heather could make her sewing machine sing. So was the seed of an idea for Sofa Garden sown.” – K.
We jumped in with both feet and opened our doors (site) in late ’99. Sadly, because of family commitments, Heather had to move away and left the business in its infancy. My family and I, however, never slowed down. At that time every piece was hand-painted and sewn on a good old Singer home machine. Over the years our products and capabilities have evolved considerably, moving away from painted designs to those that make exquisite fabrics and embellishments the star attractions.
It is with great excitement and enthusiasm we relaunch SofaGarden.com this Summer of 2012. Sofa Garden, Inc. remains a boutique designer/manufacturer of decor pillows for exclusive sale on our website. Our designs range from elegant and sophisticated to fun and fanciful. Regardless of style, every piece is constructed of fine materials and hand-crafted with care in our Willamette Valley, Oregon studio. It is our hope that you will find our pillows to be the best decorative pillows you have ever purchased.
